Venting is complicated.

It makes you feel better, posting things publicly and I’m not against it.

If venting is what makes people feel better, then yes, by all means.

But I draw a line at posting insults about people, so that they’ll see it.

That’s not venting. That’s just indirect insulting, and that usually ends up being destructive and hurtful. Not just for the person you’re insulting, but yourself.

Ever been hurt by someone you thought you could trust, making your life miserable by making enemies out of strangers you once respected?

Ever got fed up of people choosing sides, after only hearing one side of a long complicated story?

Ever made a mistake that someone just won’t let go, even though it probably hurt you more than it did them?

Well, I’m still alive. I know more now through people’s rash, stupid actions and in the long term, I’m better for it.

You have enemies?

Good.

It means you stood up for something.
